ETARP

The East Tennessee Apprenticeship Readiness Program is a 3-week, 120-hour course intended to provide students with a strong preparation to enter a variety of apprenticeship programs. Included in the course are certifications for OSHA 30 and CPR, along with a math review, diversity and sexual harassment training, heritage of the American worker, construction trades awareness, and an introduction to local construction trades unions.

The 2021 ETARP class begins on July 26, and will be held at Roane State Community College Oak Ridge campus. There is no cost to students and a small stipend is provided to cover transportation costs, but attendance is mandatory and a clean drug test is required.
